Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Puttur, has been serving rural education for over a century through 90+ institutions across Dakshina Kannada. Many students come from economically weaker families where nutrition is a daily challenge. To ensure that no child studies on an empty stomach, VVS initiated the Anna Brahma Yojana, providing free, nutritious mid-day meals to students in its schools.

Project Objective

Provide daily nutritious meals for students from low-income families.
Improve attendance, health and learning outcomes.
Promote compassion and equality through community support.
